School Portrait: Adrienne

"This is Adrienne's second grade school picuture in 1954 when she was at Foster Elementary School and this was the year her teacher called me and said did you know "that Adrienne cannot see the big E on the eye chart from her seat in the school room?  Very embarrassing as first awareness about her nearsightedness"

for Craig to practice making portraits and this is a very pretty one

J. M. Ford

"John Marshal Ford was Grandpa's father.  He was the oldest of 11 Children and they lived on a farm.  He used to tell stories about his mother telling him to get his gun and go shoot a rabbit for her to
make some stew for supper. He was a happy man always seemed to be enjoying life.  He was the strong head of his home and everyone respected him.  He was a strong Christian and always enjoyed his
church life as a deacon in the Baptist church.  I liked him very much and he always made me feel very welcome when we would visit them in Waco. He never wanted anyone to think he was retired and would never admit being retired."

Baby Grammy

"Grammy was the cutest baby ever! Or course, she is dressed beautifully and has a pretty necklace on. Even her sock are timed in lace. What I like the most is her adorable smile:)”
