Estes Park, Colorado, 1962
"We were loading our Big old green Cadillac with all our blue jeans, etc. to go on a trip to a ranch in Estes Park, Colorado. Grandpa, Grammy, Adrienne, Dana, and Roger Lewis our friend from Beracaha Church. He loved to drive, so we invited him to go with us and do all the driving and he took us up on it. We stayed a week and ate Ranch food and horses were available for those who wanted to ride. At night we played Bingo in the big dining room. Dana sat on Grandpa's lap and he helped her move the chips and she won a Teddy Bear!!!!! She was so excited!
I must say she attracted much attention from all the guests in her red Cowboy outfit. It was a very good, relaxing vacation in the cool weather' except for one night at 2:00 a.m. The desk called Grandpa an asked him to go to a certain room because a lady thought she was having a heart attack!! She wasn't, but the lady really appreciated his coming to see her."

I loved this outfit and wore it quite proudly. I believe there was a little red fringed vest that went with it. I have no idea where this photo was taken-- maybe somebody else can help.
