Mary Alice Spencer Eubank was the oldest daughter after her sister, Abbey T. (short for Texana) died at age five at the ranch in Matagorda County. Iras Minnie Spencer Stone was two years younger and Calvin Andrus Spencer (Uncle Count) was two years younger than Iras. They all lived in Richmond, Texas where they grew up because the family moved from the ranch to Richmond after Abbey T died because my grandmother wouldn't live at the ranch any longer.
